My first playthrough I paired Chrom with Olivia by accident(Because I wanted to pair him with Cordelia, but that's not possible). It's ok though, because Inigo looks great with blue hair.

I only recruited Lucina and Owain so far. How come Owain and Lucina get S supports with each other? Aren't they cousins?
I just reclassed Olivia to Myrmidon. We will see how this goes.

At S support, they don't get married. They become companions.

olivia is definitely not useless, she's the most useful falcon knight on my team! (more str than sumia and faster than cordelia)
chrom is the best father for inigo so even if you did that on accident it was a good thing
inigo is easily my favorite kid, give him rightful king and have olivia pass on galeforce and bam godlier inigo than usual
the only problem with doing that is that you can't pair lucina and inigo together romantically and that's my favorite kid ship, sad times
i caved and got the dlc for roy, leaf, and ephraim a while ago (read: summer) but haven't played since and this is making me want to go max out their stats sigh
dude maxing out the mag stat for str oriented characters because you're too ocd to leave everything except mag unmaxed is a pain

(more str than sumia and faster than cordelia) Them Dark Fliers(LOLOL GALEFORCE) Galeforce almost makes dancers useless in this game but also Olivia does not have good movement as a dancer which is part of why I don't like her. I am primarily using: Chrom, Stahl, Lon'Qu, Owain, Lissa, Maribelle, Kellam, Cherche, Cordelia and MU. I rotate the others if there are more spots left. |

Well, I went ahead and got ALL OF THE CHILDREN! Finally! They are all so awesome that I totally forgot that they had parents! haha whoops! Except Inigo. Inigo kind of failed for me. Then again his parents were two horribly undertrained Olivia/Frederick who were paired up solely for the purpose of making Inigo and so I could beat his sidequest.
Also in the middle of all of that I totally forgot that there was a main story to this game. Whoopsagain. Lucina totally just tried to kill me. She's getting benched for that.

so i've been playing more awakening too since my laptop died and i finally finished making my perfect team, the only one whose stats aren't perfect is severa, she has like 18 mag or something and i can't be bothered to max it out since i don't actually like her and am only using her for her skillset (read: weapons never breaking because armsthrift)
my final streetpass party is inigo, lucina, owain, cynthia, noire, severa, mu, morgan, ephraim, leaf
was gonna use eltshan because eltshan finally playable wow!!! but too lazy to train him
i was really excited when i got owain and cynthia's support up to s because i ship it they're both so crazy but then i realized that they're cousins in my game oops ship it anyways cause it's not a fe game without some accidental (or not) incest oops (looking at you fe4)

So going through all of the DLC now since I don't want the game to end(TT) I accidentally got dread fighter and bride classes. Eirika in a wedding gown is hilarious. I think I shall make my Morgan a bride, which is appropriate considering that I just gave her an S support with Owain.
I totally forgot the parents generation existed at this point...

So... I don't have this game yet personally. But a friend of mine has let me borrow his 3DS so I could play it. I haven't gotten any DLC but I love the game. Love the story, like most of the characters, LOVE that there's no support limits (and that they're actual support conversations). I've only played it once through (and not quite that technically 'cause I haven't done the endgame chapter 'cause I'm trying to get certain characters with certain skills).
I picked up Soren in the spotpass thing 'cause well it's Soren, but I haven't used him >_<U

Well I am going through my second playthrough. I freed Tiki and now I got impatient and DLC grinding Lissa/Maribelle/Olivia for Galeforce. I am pretty sure child optimization is overrated but dammit I need Owain/Brady/Inigo to have galeforce!
My pairings:
MU/Lissa
Chrom/Olivia
Donnel/Sully
Ricken/Miriel
Frederick/Sumia
Vaike/Maribelle
Stahl/Cordelia
Lon'qu/Panne
Kellam/Nowi
Gaius/Tharja
Gregor/Cherche
First playthrough I just picked supports I liked and made pairings based off of that. Second time around I wanted to 1. get different S conversations and 2. maximize galeforce(which is why Gaius/Donnel married Tharja/Sully)
Kid optimization is a pain because holy crap getting every potential dark flier up 15 levels is a pain. Also I have to think of good skills the fathers can pass down. Lucina is my only child unit all she got from Olivia was Speed+2

So, I decided to post here instead of making a new thread since this IS called Fire Emblem 3DS. I doubt anyone will even read this but you guys are what got me into Fire Emblem so I think I owe it to you guys to post about my experience with Fire Emblem if here.
I beat Birthright. I was disappointed by the Samurai but holy shit! Ryoma! and Takumi! Magic was nerfed hard in this game and bows were buffed.
I'm in the middle of Conquest going through all of the child paralogues ('cause they got them offspring seals now). Man fuck chapter 10. That defend map from hell. Kamui is really dumb in Conquest. It's kind of annoying. Also I don't know who to marry because Nohr girls(guys too, really) aren't as pretty as Hoshido girls.
