I tried the demo and it's pretty solid. I can't fathom why they didn't put the map on the bottom screen so you could move your units with touch controls, but oh well.

max factory is making a figma of marth in the outfit from this game! SPOILERS SERIOUSLY WOW SPOILERS DON'T READ IF YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED THE GAME YET I don't know if it's actually marth or if it's lucina but either way I'm probably going to buy it sobs
maybe it'll have interchangeable heads for both of them?
I think it's actually lucina but since marth has the same outfit as her if you get him through dlc it might be him for real I don't know what to think any more on another related note has anyone gotten the DLC for this game yet? I'll probably get leaf's and ephraim's once they come out... maybe roy's too if he doesn't suck |

screeches I just finished the game after I finally got my hands on a physical copy on the 13th
wowee new favorite fire emblem game sorry fe4 but this game just improves on you in every way?!??!?! (I think I like 4's story the best still though)
sorry not sorry gonna ramble a bit here
my whole runthrough was blind so I regret some of the pairings I made (namely Chrom/Sumia and Stahl/Sully since I never used Sumia and Sully after promoting them wow lackluster units do not recommend)
I should have went with Chrom/Olivia since my Inigo had lame starting stats (I only realized I wanted Olivia's kid after I had paired everyone else off already and settled pairing her with Frederick ughhhhh) but at least Inigo started with Luna and then I reclassed him into a swordmaster to give him Astra after getting Sol THIS KID IS A FUCKING BEAST
Lon'qu/Cordelia was a faNTASTIC CHOICE GOOD JOB ME SEVERA IS A GODDESS TOP TIER STATS WOW I got her Astra and Sol as well, currently reclassed her as a Dark Flier so she can get Galeforce and be even more broken
paired MU with Gaius obviously and Morgan wreaked havoc as a Trickster I mean he came with Ingus and Lethality 10/10 would recommend in fact I am doing this in all future playthroughs, I'm working on getting him Astra and Swordfaire and whatnot
Lucina's the only other kid I'm using right now and even though I'm not using Sumia she was actually a pretty good mother since I have Lucina on the path to get Galeforce on the Dark Flier class now and she came with Relief, bless since I send her out solo a lot
there are many things I would go back and not do but overall it was a pretty good playthrough, Gaius was my MVP followed by MU and then Inigo haha
also the music in the game is top tier
and the cutscenes are really well animated too I enjoyed them 10/10 even if the context and voices had me laughing at a lot of serious moments
screeches one last time before leaving goodbye friends

Finally found a copy of this game and it's great.
My only complaint is the chibi style that removes their feet. I thought they were clipping through the ground for the longest time.

finished my second playthrough
my ships this time:
Chrom/Sumia (IT WAS ON ACCIDENT)
MU/Henry
Gaius/Olivia
Stahl/Cherche
Frederick/Panne
Cordelia/Lon'qu (again)
I grinded Olivia, Sumia and Cordelia up to get Galeforce before getting the kids and they're gods
the kids that is
though the three of them are pretty hot too
I've been spending postgame reclassing Inigo like 6 times and he's maxed out every stat except for magic and gotten every skill he can (from the second tier classes that is)
I just want him to max everything sobs come on magic work with me here
ALSO DID ANYONE GET THE DLC YET my 3ds won't connect to the dorm wifi sobs I just want Leaf and Eltshan that's all I want

So I finally got a 3DS XL and Fire Emblem Awakening. (I fucking love black friday). I must say I am really impressed with the game so far.
I really like that they brought back the world map thing from Sacred Stones. Grinding arguably makes the game too easy but OMGSUPPORTS. I don't have to worry about 5 support conversation limits, and on top of that there are ACTUAL SUPPORT CONVERSATIONS!(I'm looking at you RD).
My MU is a dude and I have to figure out who he should marry. He has A supports with Anna and Lissa. I already paired off Chrom and Sumia as well as Sully and Stahl.
I don't understand why there are laguz units. I never used laguz in PoR or RD, and I won't use them now. Also wtf is Gregor supposed to be? I don't understand why he is Russian.
Virion was so irrelevant and all of a sudden: HAI GUYZ I AM IMPORTANT NOW!
I got the champions of yore DLC. It's a fun start. I got Marth/Roy/Micaiah. However because they don't support, there really is no reason to use them except as fan service.
Champions of my team so far: Chrom, MU, Gaius, Lon'Qu, Stahl.
People who are benched forever: All laguz units, Frederick, Vaike, Virion.
I dunno I just really hate axes and bows apparently. PoR/RD being the exception but otherwise: I have so many bows and axes. I don't know what to do with them.
My two cents after completing 12 story chapters and a few sidequests and DLC quests.

So I went on a pairing rampage to get all of the child units. Still need to match Olivia(ffff why you so useless), Maribelle and Panne.
So Lissa/Kellam is interesting, especially after Chrom/Sumia. Dem pies.
Cherche/Lon'Qu is probably my favorite support conversations.
Gaius/Cordelia. Not much to say on this one, I just liked their support conversation(I based the relationships on which supports I like)
MU/Anna! I don't care if she is a bad mother choice!
Henry/Tharja. Two crazy people. I don't want them with anyone else. Henry is ok with Tharja being crazy and obsessed with MU.
Gregor/Nowi-It happened by accident. Not much to say here.
Miriel/Vaike-No idea what to think but I really liked this S support a lot.
No really, I always used Ninian/Heron units in previous FE games, why is Olivia so bad?
