It's been sitting at the bottom of my game stack for two years and I haven't touched it since I tore the wrapping off.
Every time summer comes I tell myself I'm going to finally play it, but I never do. It's probably because of that one friend who talked about it for like 3 years straight and it was the most annoying thing ever.
So someone give me a good reason to stop messing with my Hetalia Sims and play it or I'll end up putting it off until next summer again. @_@

Because you can't play Kindom Hearts 2 unless you play Kingdom Hearts XD
I would imagine you wouldn't really want to play it if a friend talked it about it so much that it made you hate it XD But its so fun. And good.
The gameplay is really fun, but the story is also awesome. And... Disney. And Final Fantasy.
Some of the worlds and characters are really touching. 100 acre wood is really good.
Also, any part with Beast in both games is really good, because Beast is beast.

I'll admit I sort of want to play 2 because the guys in it look hot.
How long is it? The annoying friend said he beat it in 6 hours, so if it's that short maybe I'll just power through it on Monday.
I have a feeling it's not really that short, though.

2 is better gameplay wise (which sequels usually are), only in 2 they made the Colosseum suck...
Plus, there's that thousand heartless battle in 2, which I always think is fun.
But mostly, I liked the story of them. And the gameplay XD It's like If you took a really good final fantasy story, and threw in Disney and other awesome characters, and then made it really fun to play also.
I need to get my KH2 back from my friend, he borrowed it years ago, and neither of us have tried very hard to get it back to me... But I really want to play it now.
Edit: Plus, If I had a game that you thought was super amazing sitting on a shelf somewhere that i'd never played, I'd probably go play it XD

Well, I started it this morning and played until I beat Cloud in the Coliseum.
Sometimes the camera control makes me rage so much. Ugh, I've been playing too much Persona. I keep trying to use the square button to square it behind me or the right control stick to zoom in or out and I keep falling down off those stupid mushrooms-
That's really just my own fault though. >.>
Also, I keep hearing my annoying friend's voice in my head while I play.
But other than that I'm enjoying it so far. :< Except for those shooting things on the gummi ship.

At some point in the game you can just skip the gummi ship parts as you travel between worlds.

No, you definatly don't, because I haven't played it (no DS).
But Chain of Memories, the GBA game, which is also between 1 and 2 would probably help, but I don't think it would be necessary. If anything, you could just read up on what happens in Chain of Memories.
Also in 2, the gummi ship parts are way better, and actually kinda fun.
