Yup, post your favorite game songs. I've been looking for some more awesome songs from games so I'd love to hear what you guys like. :D My favorite composers are Yasunori Mitsuda, Sakuraba Motoi, and Meguro Shoji.

The best part's at around a minute in. Awesome to air-guitar to. 8D;;

Parting Towards a New Hope (Tales of Destiny: Director's Cut)

I think it plays during the credits. Or near the ending. If I had the game I could tell you. ;_;

Violent Storm (Baten Kaitos, plays for a certain "final" boss)

That's like one of my favorite boss battle songs ever. <3

Russell Sortie (Yggdra Union)

Yggdra Union never gets any love. Russell's my favorite... and Roswell... and Milanor...

Everlasting Fight (Tales of the Abyss during the cameo in the coliseum)

There's Bare Its Fangs from ToD, Take Up The Cross from ToP, Dona Nobis Pacem from ToD2, and Inferia Battle from ToE all remixed into one awesome song. Take Up The Cross in this mix is my favorite version of it. <3

Lord Laharl's Hymn (Disgaea)

My mom gets mad whenever she hears this song for whatever reason.

Boss music needs to be good because when you hear it you're like OH YEAH NOW I'M PUMPED LET'S TAKE THIS SUCKER ON. D:

And the music in cities can't be too annoying otherwise it makes you want to pull your hair out.

Ok, this isn't gonna be nearly as epic as I wanted, but I'm low on time I'll do more later. (I go home this weekend so I'll live on the internet soon) So here it goes-

The Wilderness of Sadness (Final boss fight from Dawn of the New World)

It just has that ZOMG THIS IS THE END I MUST KILL THIS PERSON feel to it.

One Winged Angel (Final boss fight from Final Fantasy VII)

This is just legendary... with that chanting stuff going on in the background... Oh man...

THE TITLE THEME FROM SONIC AND KNUCKLES AH YEA

Not only is it extremely catchy, but it brings back memories. When I was just growing into my nerd prime, I didn't know how to use emulators and roms. Sonic and Knuckles was the first game that I got to work on an emulator. Hearing that song just takes me back cause it's the first thing I heard come from an emulator. It was the beginning of fun times.

DK Isle Theme (from Donkey Kong 64)

This is the perfect beach song. Perfect, I tell ya.


There's soooooooooooooooooooooooo many more (especially from RPGs) that I wanna post right now but I g2g. I shall return to this thread ASAP

The Wilderness of Sadness is like the most epic song on the ToS2 and ToS soundtracks combined. 8U (Yes, Kratos, it's better than The End of a Thought.) The battle would have been more epic if Richter didn't stagger.

The phrase "nerd prime" just made me laugh so hard. Why are you so awesome, Zelos.
