Come on, cough it up! How many of your were Digimon fans growing up? I totally was. I'm actually writing a Digimon fanfiction so I designed my own Digimon. This is Suohmon and her next digivolution-- no name yet. No color yet either. These two were my first graphics made on PS 'cause I just downloaded it not too long ago... :3 Any criticism? Thoughts? Comments?

LINEART, IT IS SO PRETTY HJFAHSFKJASADGK
And I never have the patience to color anything. *headdesk*
But the lineart, the lineart ghasjdkfasj it's so pretty.
Do you color on separate layers for each color/shading?

Lineart takes so frigg'n FOREVER if you want to stimulate pressure with a mouse. >.>; That second picture probably took me about three or four hours. And no, I don't do separate layers... it's probably smarter that way so the coloring doesn't interfere with the other shades, but I'm not patient enough to do that. I just have one layer of lineart and one layer of color. That's it. XD And thanks! <3

I loved Digimon until the third one where they say the other 2 were just TV shows. That was fail. In other words, it was the complete opposite of these drawings, cause these are absolutely epic Can't wait to see the second one with color.

The third season had Renamon, though. D: Renamon's one of my favorites.
Having multiple layers for colors makes the computer lag so much. >.> Maybe that's why I never finish coloring anything...
AND ALSO THE REASON WHY I LOVE SAI IS BECAUSE YOU GET "LINE PRESSURE" WITHOUT USING PRESSURE AT ALL GHALKFSA <3

I agree about the Renamon comment, but other than that... the third season pretty much failed. x.x I had to use multiple layers for coloring the second picture or otherwise it would have been a mess. >.>; I haven't shaded it yet, but this is what I have so far:

I like the color scheme. Have you ever done vector coloring?

O.o Interesting. I can't honestly say that I know how to do that though... so it's more like anime shading. XD

Yeah, it was possible and really easy in GIMP, actually. >.>;; With the paths.
It might be do-able in SAI, too.
I don't know about PS.

It's just making really thin lineart, isn't it? 'cause I think I could do it, but I've just never tried it.

There might be a special tool you need in order to have the shading be as crisp as possible unless you can be really steady with a tablet. ;o
But if you're steady I'm sure you could do it.
