Site shop?

I'm thinking about starting up a small shop on this site for some small prizes-- titles, member groups, journal boards, advertising, etc. This has several benefits, all of which I will list below:

- Members will have an incentive to post since each post will gain a certain number of points.
- These points can serve as prizes for competitions.
- Graphic artists can pour their creativity into something; they will be asked to donate sets and other graphics as prizes for the collection. Of course, this is optional but if they're bored, they have something to do.
- There will be some variety on this site with the member groups, journal boards and whatnot.
- It'll give staff members something to do as well.
- General activity will increase - members will post, compete, etc.

Suggestions? Comments? Opinions? All are welcome.

I like it the only problem I can see is worthless posts...like posting just to get points. but really, as of who is here right now, I don't think it'd be a big deal anyway

I've yet to decide. As of right now, everyone seems to be rather active.

That's quite an interesting idea, and I like it. Just one question- what are Journal Boards?

Journal boards can be purchased for the user's own purposes and the member can basically do whatever he/she wants with them. He can use it to store an actual journal, showcase stories/artwork, etc.
