So yesterday I went to Warped for the second year in a row. Not quite as enjoyable as last year (probably because last year had Coheed, and I'm addicted to them.) But it was still a blast. Bands I saw..
All Time Low
I downloaded their new CD a weke before and learned it. Its my pop fix. I like it a lot. =D They were great live, though they tried a little to hard to be hardcore by swearing a lot even though they barely ever do in their music, but they still put on a great show and the crowd was great.
Family Force 5
So last year I was waiting for Kaddisfly to set up on their stage, and the stage next to me FF5 was playing. It looked like a blas tbut I didnt wanna lose my spot at the stage I was at. So I just decided to go them this year and I don't regret it, probably the funnest band I saw all day. Their music is music to "shake your bottoms too" as they told us. And it definitely is. I didn't know any of their music beforehand but you don't have to, just get in the mosh pit and go nuts. It was great. There was a lot of grooving during the hip-hopish parts and the whole crowd was jumping in sync with the music during the rockish parts. A total blast.
Protest the Hero
I missed them. -_- But decided to put them here just cause I love them and I can pretend that I saw them.
The Devil Wears Prada
Insane. I've seen them before so knew what to expect - an insane headbanging performance from the band and crowdsurfers and circle pits ahoy in the crowd. Definitely the roughest pit of the day, but great fun.
Against Me
I don't really know them, my friend wanted to see them and I didn't have anything else to do at the moment so I went with. Nothing standout, I didn't mosh to them just stood back and watched.
So yeah, those were the main ones I saw. Awesome time. I was wearing a Devil Wears Prada shirt from when I saw them two years ago, and when I met them they were impressed that I had that shirt since I guess they didn't make to many of those. So they chatted for a couple mins, signed the new TDWP shirt that I had bought that day, and just kicked all ass at their set.
