Currently one of my top favorites is a group called Within Temptation. They're a European group (Swedish I think but they sing in mostly English from what I've heard).
Another group, also European is Poets of the Fall... I really like they're song "Locking up the Sun"

I actually have a lot more groups that I like as well, especially J-pop and J-rock... it's just that I can't remember the groups' names off the top of my head, and I've been listening to exclusively WT for like the past week or so XD

And Shiori - I've heard of Within Temptation, they toured with Lacuna Coil last year. I never really cared for their music but it's kinda in the same genre that I listen to oddly enough.

I would? O.o Are you sure? I listen to some poppish punk. (All Time Low) Actually I just listened to them so I'd know more bands at Warped, but they're not terrible, I just can't take to much of them at a time. XD
