ic: The girl, whose name was actually Stephanie, dropped down into the grass and sighed. Although she certainly appreciated the change in scenery from her home in Arizona, she didn't know where she was or what she was doing. It all had happened so quickly and now she somehow was stuck in this strange world that she didn't know anything about. She hadn't yet talked to anyone, though she was sure that they spoke fluent English. Ari, as she was called by her dear Tales friends, wondered what else there was to do.
Would she be stuck here forever to scratch a living off of rocks or would she find another way to live? Ari laid back, allowing herself to relax under the warm sun. The sea of grass was soothing as each blade tickled her skin. She eventually sat back up as she noticed a beetle hovering over her and hurriedly shooed it away with a wave of her hand. In the distance, she could see a grand city but she didn't know if she would be allowed inside the walls, nor did she want to face the stares of the citizens. Ari glanced at her clothes-- a tank top and jeans. She would most definitely not fit in with the dresses and tunics which were worn in these parts.
ooc: Bleh, crappy, crappy, crappy, short, disgusting post. Feel free to join.

P was so confused. She had one of those D8 expressions on her face as she wandered through the vast plains. "What's up with this, Haseo?" P questioned, perplexed, lifting up her Haseo plushie so she could stare at it with a frown. "Dude, we were just playing some .hack//GU, and Ovan was getting his blue butt handed to him, and then it was so weird, man. The computer started to talk to me from the other side of the room, and I walked over, and something weird happened, and then KABOOM." She poked his belly and heard him scream out an irrelevant, pre-fabricated line before sighing. "This is just like .hack, man. First, I get sucked into a game; then, I'm going to start playing; next, I'm gonna get owned by some monster; and then BAM I'll fall into a coma. Not cool." P continued to plod through the tall grass, not liking the feeling when the tips of the blades tickled her face. She made a D8 face again and pushed them away. "But you'll save me if I fall into a coma, right, Haseo? You'll pull out those guns and go all BAMBAMBAM and then WHOOSH." P paused to give Haseo's belly another poke. Damn... What the hell... What the hell are you?! it screamed out, and P gave a @_@ expression. After looking back up, P expected to see the sea of grass still intimidating her, but there was something weird. In the distance it looked like there was something else there, and P squinted her eyes, pursing her lips. "You know what, Haseo? That looks like a person, doesn't it?" She gave his belly a poke. Move! Get out of the way! Or I'll eat you alive!!! "Oh my. Well, anyways, let's go see who that is over there." She stuffed Haseo under her arm and started to hurry towards the person. ((I apologize, I was very hyper while writing this. >.> I'll make a serious post if you want. @_@; )

Brian was in a sea of birds, their chirping about to make his ears explode. When he opened his eyes, they were all staring at him, hungry eyed. What?! Where am I?! He thought, knowing something was wrong. Before he could make sense of anything, he felt a sharp pain on his hand and lifted it up close to his chest; one of the birds was jumping after it, blood in its mouth. More and more birds began to go crazy, and take chunks out of Brian's clothing, biting into his skin... all of them making those horrible chirping noises.
The pain suddenly disappeared, and Brian's eyes opened once again. He was again laying in an ope field of grass, but this time, there were no hungry birds in site. He started to lift himself off the ground when he heard another chirp behind him and flipped out. He feel on his back again, and looked to see a small innocent bird sitting in a dead tree about 10 feet away. "Don't bite me... please?"
The teenager stood up, and tried to figure out where he was. All he could see, however, was grass and more grass; some rocks or trees here and there, but it was obviously a plain. In one direction he could make out what seemed like a large city, but nothing familiar like Chicago. There weren't even any roads where Brian was now.
He dusted himself off with his hands, working off as much dirt as he could. At this moment, he was wearing blue jean shorts with a gray Aeropostale shirt. Oh sh*t, I'm not wearing shoes! This was the moment where Brian really began to freak out. On the first hand, he didn't know where he was or how he got there. The last thing he does remember vaguely resembled a bad horror movie... On the second hand, he only had like ten dollars, and on the third hand, he didn't have shoes, and wasn't prepared for any wilderness surviving!
To stay calm, Brian just picked a direction and walked. For now, he wanted to stay away from the city, but still keep it in sight, so he headed off to make a circle around it. Maybe he would find someone... or something along the way... Well... If anything, this is a good time to think things through. Before this, I can remember my house. I was playing Tales of Symphonia, and then the weird noises... and then my computer flipped out. I'm probably just hallucinating at any point. Or maybe those birds were just a dream inside a dream...
Walking nearly barefoot didn't take long to take a toll on the teenager. His feet were worn out; his socks brown and torn to shreds. And he was constantly rubbing his eyes too! Sleeping with his contacts in always made him feel horrible, and on top of all the other bad things going on, he now had to worry about his eyes hurting. "Hey... wait." He mumbled to himself in the middle of rubbing his eyes. "I see people over there." He ran off to meet the mystery people.

Alright. What the crap?! Who had just taken Jukka away from Skies of Arcadia?! As exciting as it was to be sucked into the computer and land in this massive sea of grass, he was really worried about the fact that he hadn't saved his game in a while. Either way, there probably wasn't a whole lot he could do now. Seeing as he had been planning on going for a run after his gaming session, he was dressed in a cut off and shorts, along with fancy (and quite comfortable) running shoes. He walked a few steps in the tall grass, looking at his surroundings.
So..there was..a lot of grass. That was confirmed. At least it wasn't raining or anything though. Walking through tall wet grass would just be a pain. Off in the distance he spotted what looked like a town. Why not? Probably could get some information.
Slowly making his way over to the city, he saw a fellow run in the distance towards something. Civilization! Man..Jukka had been alone for like..3 minutes and was already excited to see someone. He quickly ran after him.

P heard rustling from behind, and turned to see someone running towards her with blazing speed. There was only one person she knew who would be able to run with that much burning passion. This guy was burning almost as much as Kawamura from TeniPuri, holy man. "Great-o! Haseo, look! Do you know who that is?" She exclaimed loudly, jabbing her plushie's belly. Shino... Shino, I miss you... "No, you fool! That's JukkaBam! I wonder if he can see me."
Stopping in her slow walk, P stood on her tiptoes and waved frantically at the running Jukka. Inbetween arm motions she did tidbits of the YMCA and macarena, but she wasn't sure he could see her through all this tall grass. With pursed lips, she lowered her arms and gripped her plushie with new determination. "Alright, Haseo, are you ready for this?!" she shouted, followed by a quick poke. This is it! We're putting an end to it all! Let's go! "Finally, a quote that makes sense," P mumbled, balling up Haseo in her hand. She brought it back around her head, somehow going into a pitcher's stance even though she didn't like baseball, before whipping Haseo forward.
With a whistling noise, Haseo pierced through the air, and P watched amusedly as he smacked Jukka in the face. Upon contact, Haseo's belly was somehow pressed. I'll kill you!! "HI JUKKA," P called out. "Apparently Haseo's gonna kill you."

((Your posts are very creepy right now! I only hope that you don't act like this in real life!))
"HI JUKKA, Apparently Haseo's gonna kill you." Brian heard. Another person, obviously Jukka, was running behind Brian, and got smacked by a flying doll that responded with a death thread upon impact.
Jukka? He thought. That's the name of that guy on Tales Collection. What are the chances of that? I bet that everyone else here must be from that website as well.
As Brian slowed to a stop, he could see three other people now standing together in the grassy field. One guy, Jukka, and then two girls. "Jukka you said? From Tales Collection? I'm spot, that new kid. But I'll go crazy if you keep calling me that... just call me Brian." He said to the group of people. "Is everyone else here from that website?"
The wind blew in Brian's face, and his eyes shut closed immediately. It was relatively dry that day, and his contacts weren't getting any better. At this rate, he would have to take them out within the hour. But who knows how well he could see without them in? And would there be a place to get new ones anytime soon? He rubbed his eyes gently as he waited for a response.

Forrest, Aka Sapphire Flame was rather bemused and annoyed. "Okay, where am I? Is this some sort of dream?" he looked around. Usually, his dreams were much weirder than this, and by now some sort of video game character or weird monstrosity should be showing up. He remembered some of the cues that tipped you off that you were dreaming, but this place seemed real.
It slowly began to sink into him. He played back the last few moments. Let's see, I was playing Super Smash Brothers Brawl. I heard weird noises... and then... I was sucked into the computer or something? Doesn't that stuff only happen in cliche fiction plots? He looked to see if he could get out of this place. Sadly, there didn't appear to be another portal to anywhere resembling his room. All right, stay calm. There has to be a way to go back. I mean, you're not stuck here forever, aren't you? You can't be stuck in a place so distant from home. No... it can't be... He let out a cry to the heavens, a cry that conveyed utter desperation and seemed loud enough to him to go on for miles. "I can't log onto the internet from here!"
He dug into his pocket. "Great, I just had to bring my DS along. This is going to be a drag. I can't possibly charge it up here, there isn't any possible practical use for this, but if I lost it I'd lose all those pokemon I trained so hard with. To top that off, I seem to be talking to myself now. At least my pocket has a zipper on it... And no one can here me slowly going mad... "
He stopped to listen, and swore he heard voices. Either my insanity is progressing faster than I thought or I'm not alone. I doubt descents into madness happen that quickly, so they're probably people. Lucky for me they seem to be in english. He walked over to them. "Hey guys, you know how I can get out of here? I need to check my messages. "

Jukka's head almost exploded from the chaos and confusion that just happened. He wasn't sure...but he thought he heard a small figure say "I'll Kill You!!" and then proceed to smack him in the face, causing him to lose focus off his passionate running. Screams were heard, questions were asked, realizations were made, and before anyone knew it, Jukka had just met P-Chan and Spot off of Tales Collection. Oh..and Jukka had met Haseo too, whom P-Chan refused to let go of unless it was to occasionally launch at someone's head.
"So..you guys all had it too? The weird stuff at the comptuer?" They were all rapidly questioning one another, you know how it is; something exciting happens and everyones asking each other how they arrived or what they were doing. Through the excitement, Jukka spotted who he recognized as Ari, and called her over. Forrest also showed up, though he seemed to be more concerned about losing data and such.
As the group gathered, Jukka couldn't help but think this was no coincidence.

A young woman sat underneath a tree in the distance, her tarot cards laid out in front of her. She frowned; she had been staring at the cards for at least five minutes now, and she still didn't quite understand this particular layout's meaning. Sighing she picked up the cards and put them back in with her other cards in their cloth. She knew she already absorbed the information subconsciously, but she hated it when things like that happened as there are a number of things she'll prefer to know consciously.
Tatiana leaned back against the tree she was under. Where was she? She remembered playing a game at home, something calling her, and a portal in her computer screen of all places. What bugged her was that it pulled her in, without her permission. The young woman brushed some of the dirt off of her skirt. What made Tatiana nervous the most was being so vulnerable; she didn't have her tanto, not even the knife her cousin gave her. A foreign world, wearing simple clothing and armed with only her tarot deck. It didn't bode well for Tatiana at all.

Oh dear, oh dear... Ari thought to herself. First I am warped to this strange, new world and now I feel like I'm hearing things. ...wait. Or am I? She sat up, rolling onto her knees to see if she could glance upward at the others who had called to her. They were far off in the distance and with her blind-as-a-bat vision, she could barely make them out. However, if they called her by name, surely she had to have recognized them from somewhere else, correct? Well, she was certainly willing to test that theory.
She picked herself up, rather ungracefully I might add, starting toward the group. Along the way, she passed by another person who seemed at ease with herself. She sat below a tree, playing with cards of some sort. Ari didn't have the time to figure out just what sort of cards they were before they where placed back into the cloth in which they belonged. This woman appeared to be a bit older than Ari herself, and she carried an air of familiarity.
As she stepped closer, she recognized this person's face from the many pictures she had seen of this so-called stranger. "Shiori!" Ari cried. "Oh my God, Shiori, is that actually you?" Indeed, she was taken by surprise, and the second part was more of a rhetorical question than anything. This entire ordeal was starting to make sense, even though she had not an idea why or how it had taken place. Being warped to another world was a mystery to her, and she doubted that she would be able to find out what was going on anytime soon.
