...As of Tuesday, July 15, 2008. ;D
Lets start with number 10...
10. Paper Mario (N64) Okay, I won't lie, the whole concept or Mario being paper thin was sweet, and actually thinking about it, it could have made for a sweet platformer game using paper moves. Anyway, funny dialogue kept the story (which of course involved saving Peach) fresh and entertaining to read through. Battles were fun and kept involvement with timed button presses. Playing as Peach was always entertaining too I suppose. XD Hm, to be honest, I can't really remember much of this game seeing as I hvaen't played it in so long. But, there's number 10!
9. Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance (GCN) My first FE game! Do I really need to explain this? I mean, we've pretty much all played it. Awesomeness, right? Right! So why is it number 9? Cause I liked 1-8 better, duh.
8. Summoner: A Goddess Reborn (GCN/PS2) A random buy when I was feeling RPG starved. And what an excellent one! You are Maia, and I'm not even delve into the story because it takes so many twists and turns and explanations that I'd be typing forever. Just take my word for it - there is a massive story here (I played through it like, 3 times, each time was around 70 hours.) The combat is real time action combat, basically button mashing. You and two other AI controlled friends battle through endless mounds of enemies, and yes, it is fun, although after 70 hours, it does get a bit repetitive. But theres skills and new things that come along to keep it fresh. This game should be dirt dirt cheap (I'm talking like, 3 bucks) if you see it, get it!
7. Fire Emblem 7 (GBA) My first GBA FE! I'm sure most of us have played this too. Let me say, this FE had my favorite set of characters ever. They had my big 3 R's (Raven, Rebecca, Rath) All of whom were amazing, not to mention Guy, Florina, heck even the lords were amazing in this one. Not to mention I loved the story a lot more than PoR's.
6. Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn (Wii) Do I need to say anything about this one either? It's my favorite FE game because of the story, characters, and just the little improved things, like battle animations and the way that they run naturally now instead of like..90 degree turns all the time. XD
5. X-Men Legends (GCN/XBOX/PS2) I love X-Men. I love RPGs. What better game could there possibly be? Well, okay, there's a few. But yeah, this game rocks. It has tons of X-Men characters to play as, tons of background info and treats for long time fans, which are fun to find. Combat is awesome, its in "hack and slash" style only..with mutant powers. So yeah, you and 3 other mutants plow through enemies. Another cool thing, everything in the environment is destructible, which is sweet. Throw a bad guy into the wall and BAM the wall is gone. Yeah, it is that awesome. Plus, its nice and lengthy. Which we all love.
4. Tales of Symphonia (GCN) Okay...the board is based off of this game. I'm not saying a word, except Colette, we've had enough.
OKAY, TOP 3. I had a really hard time deciding between 2 and 3 (was 1 really even a question? XD)
3. Gladius (GCN/PS2/360) Words cannot express my love for this game. Like FE? Try this, its much better. =D Turn based action, but with more strategic elements than FE, plus you get involvement, everytime you want to attack some type of bar comes up at the bottom of the screen, challenging you to different button combos or timed button presses to see whether your attack is a critical or not. Kick ass, right? Yeah! Plus, you get to pick who's on your gladiator team. Choose from tons of different classes. Yeah. Who doesn't wanna run a gladiator school? Don't even try and say you wouldn't want to.
2. Tales of the Abyss (PS2) Make ToS' battle system better, make an even better story, and you have TotA. Simply amazing. P-Chan, I thank you.
NUMBER 1

okay
SKIES OF ARCADIA: LEGENDS (GCN) w000000000t!! Okay, so, best story in a game I've played so far. So freakin great. Characters are awesome. Battle system isn't revolutionary or anything...but for some reason I never get sick of them. Ship battles are a unique addition though, and quite a sweet one at that. I'm not gonna start rambling. Just go buy this game.
