That sort of reminds me of how people can lay on a bed of needles and not get poked to death. :> It's because there's so many of them (needles, nails, etc.) that the amount of pressure exherted on each one by your body isn't enough to break the skin. (At least i'm pretty sure thats how it works XD) Like if they tried doing it with only 6 nails or some low number it would definatly kill them. Or at least poke into them and hurt them quite a lot. The embers and the hooks though? *shrugs* |
