I didn't even know an electric violin existed. What's it look like?
(<~ plays sax, clarinet, piano; used to tinker around with others, but lost the ability when he moved into the dorms)

After the functional parts, the shape of an electric violin doesn't matter all that much. I was in a class with someone who made their own electric viola as a project, and it was basically a long piece of wood with viola parts attached. They can get rather creative though.
The only instrument I can play decently is the viola. I got an ocarina a long time ago, but it broke. >.<

I actually kind of want to learn the cello. But the first time I tried, the strings were hard to push down since I was used to the violin strings. >.<

I think my hands are way too small for cello. I can barely play the viola. I have a friend whose hands are like... wow. They're just abnormally huge so he can, like, stretch positions as opposed to wasting time shifting. x.x; And he plays really well.

xD My violin teacher's little boy started playing violin, and he has one of those 1/4 sizes. It's so little and cute.

When I started using the pegs to tune, I was always afraid I'd snap the string. >.< I think I'm still kind of afraid, actually. ;; I always cringe and make the "I'm tuning argh" face, and hold the instrument as far away as possible. xD |
