I just read through this entire thread. Good times XD XD I think it ought to be started up again.
I miss playing FE, I really wish I still had PoR and RD.. Although I can probably emulate the Gameboy ones that I've never played (on my new sexy laptop : ) ) haha.
Also, I'm really trying to learn how to play piano. I still play trumpet and I'm going to stick with that on into college, but I want to learn piano because trumpet is not so fun to play alone. You need a band backing you up to play trumpet, while piano you can make a whole song by yourself haha.
But the only "piano" I have to learn on is this children's electric piano that plays only 2 octaves >.< so I can only really play one hand on it at a time haha. I guess it's better than nothing (though it sounds terrible) hahaha.

I wish a new FE game would be announced.  I recommend FE6, FE7, and FE8. Oh wait that's all the GBA FE games. :> But yeah they're all great in their own way. Piano is my favorite instrument to play. I like not having to worry about intonation like when I play my violin and viola. I haven't had my piano tuned since my family bought it when I started my lessons (14 years ago oh man) which is something you shouldn't do, but that's because my mom says it's a waste of money. >.> |

I started I think FE7 the other day, and got like 7 or 8 stages in but then something got messed up with the save (by "something" I mean "it didn't save") when I started it up again so I decided to punish it by not playing for a little while haha.
I wish I had a real piano, or even a real keyboard haha. I probably wouldn't even get lessons or anything, I just really like messing around on it. I mean, I definitely know enough to know how chords and scales and structured (easy stuff haha) and I finally have the piano keys mostly memorized (and when I forget I know how to figure it out from my scales haha). The next real obstacle is learning how to read bass clef (I know how to read it, or at least transcribe it into treble, but it takes me way too long haha)
I still really want to learn Violin too. Well, really I want to learn every instrument to some degree haha but the biggies I've wanted to learn were trumpet, violin, and piano. But I haven't played my oboe in so long that I can't play it anymore haha (though honestly, I think my oboe may be in need of repairs. When I pick it up I feel like my fingers still remember the fingerings of the Bb scale, but I can't get it to sound anywhere near right).
I feel like a ramble >.< hahaha XD
