I never used Rath...you get him back so late. @_@ By then, even if I DID feel like using someone with bows(which I never do >_>) I'd go with Wil.

It bothers me that they can't hit anything right in front of them. And most units don't use ranged weapons, meaning their ability to do damage is halved right there when compared to other units.  |

I like that though. It keeps a good balance. Snipers, in general, are fantastic at dodge blows. Take Rolf or Wil for example-- they never get hit. Never. So you stick them out there and although they can't necessarily do damage when attacked, they're fantastic. And because they can't deal damage, you can use them as bait without fear of them sapping away all of your exp. And then, you can send your weaker units in to crush the enemies, while they're stupidly focused on attacking the archer. I really like that.

My archers get killed pretty easily, but that is a good point I haven't considered.
It's usually my archers who fall behind and need the EXP though. everyone else just sort of goes on ahead of them. >_>

...I love my archers and bow paladins too much. >.> I just send them out there give them exp. XD They're rarely behind. Like Astrid, Rolf, Boyd and Oscar are all bow people.

I gave Astrid axes when she promoted and stopped having her use bows, and then eventually drop her for other units. I only gave Oscar bows to see the three brothers triangle attack(Killing Naesala felt like such a big accomplishment).

Shinon has a crappy personality.  He was great in the beginning but his stats failed massively at the end. |
