THE DEMO IS OUT i thought it would be the demo where you can only use tiz and agnes but i was wrong i'm so happy
if i already made a bravely default thread i'm sorry
i just started and there is ringabel's stupid hair in action and i'm laughing so hard okay goodbye time for some quality time alone with my 3ds

PROTIP: buy magic before you leave the first town because i was too excited and ran out and survived my first random encounter with only valkyrie edea left standing cause everyone got poisoned and i didn't have poisona lol

just finished rebuilding norende in the demo, if anyone needs help and adds my friendcode they can summon my lvl 20 black mage ringabel with a rod of fire to cast fira to kill shit
demo was fantastic and i cancelled my preorder of the standard edition to order the collector's edition instead it was so good i'm even more hype than i already was and i was pretty hype before
square enix continues making ff titles that are not main numbered titles that turn out to be better than many of their main numbered titles bravo

so i have the demo running every time i take my 3ds anywhere and whenever i go to class i always streetpass this one other guy with the demo too?  ? so i have 14 villagers now to transfer to the full game all from this one guy and at this rate i'll max out at the 20 allowed but he never updates his data so i can never summon him in battle because his character is level 1 default tiz from the beginning of the demo who is tbh p fucking useless well enjoy my op ringabel you butt i'm considering going out to buy the game the day it comes out even though i have the ce being shipped to my po box but i don't think i will be able to wait that long to play it so i might just have two hard copies of the game at this rate (sweats profusely) so worth it hope this game will be enough to occupy me until ao no kiseki evolution comes out in june... p.s. land of glaze is a really good town theme listening to it makes me want to dance the fucking tango |

Finally got around to downloading the demo. It's fun so far. Not sure if I'll have the money to by the game when it comes out though.
Also, how many demo uses do you have left, P-chan?

it took me 1 demo use to 100% it cause i played it compulsively that day but i kept accidentally letting my 3ds die while out trying to streetpass people so now i'm down to 18 uses but i have 20 villagers to transfer now
success
two more days (continues sweating profusely) i've been replaying 4 heroes of light in the meantime

so my final party for the last boss was ringabel: dark knight/vampire if you do anything else with him you need to reevaluate your life (ninja/pirate/black mage/arcanist excluded those are o k too) edea: ninja/pirate tiz: pirate/swordmaster agnes: spiritmaster/white mage when that serpent eating the ground starts playing in the background you know shit just got real that true ending and the bonus movie tho after i broke a crystal in chapter 6 to see the normal ending i skipped all of the rematches from chapters 6-8 to get the true ending and i'm how many more times do i need to play as a character who has been dead through the whole game lol pretty hype for bravely second after the movie with tiz in the tank things that i don't understand: from what i gathered ringabel stayed in the current world with the other three (well at least agnes and edea since tiz is (was?) dead) so what was up with the scene of him saving the edea from his world? why was airy there? i thought there was only one airy for all of the thousands/millions/whatever of the worlds and well she just got eaten by ouroboros after the third battle against her so how could she be in another world? was ringabel just given a second chance and sent back in time to save his edea and then sent back to the world from the first four chapters of the game because that's just what i'm going to assume time travel shenanigans also how did no one else realize that he was alternis i mean i was spoiled beforehand but he couldn't have worn that helmet constantly so edea and the others from the council should have recognized him yes?? also alternis himself should have recognized him did he never look in a mirror? ? fucking ringabel also i don't know how i didn't realize the thing with the subtitle earlier facedesk and lastly the party chat about the special moves slayed me "this will cause you mild to severe discomfort" or whatever it was i was rolling |

Well I just beat the game. WOW! Well my final party was Ringabel: Dark Knight/Vampire Edea: Templar/Spirit Master Tiz: Pirate/Sword Master (Free lunch + Amp Strike MIRITE?) Agnes: Spirit Master/Sword Master. This game was so ridiculous although I think I could have done without chapter 5. Chapters 6-8 are different enough to be enjoyable. I guess it goes well with Airy's sister saying you're the type of person to see things through to the end. I LOVED the story. Although I had a feeling that Ringabel was Alternis from when you first saw him on the Eschalot. It bothered me that no one recognized him. Especially EDEA who was with him the ENTIRE TIME! A really great game. It made me want to play RPGs again. |
