I figured it was time to give you an update on my life if you're interested in reading about my crap. :'D
Sooooooo this semester's been great. I'm liking my staff this year a little more than my staff last year. I still work at the same honors hall on a staff of 23, and we get along this year a lot better than we did last year. There have still be frustrations, but I cope with them. Training was almost unbearable, but I got to help out with the training itself since it was my third year, so it wasn't too bad. Here's my staff picture, if you want to see: This is what gets put up when I'm on duty!
Oh, and we also got a new phone this year. It looks like something the Avengers would use: I'd like to say that I feel like an Avenger when holding it, but really I'm just a pitiful college student who doesn't want to be called at 2am.
I was given my evaluation the other day, and my supervisor said that I was doing far better than most of the staff members, which was a great thing to hear. I got a lot of "exceeds" in my evaluation.
My grandfather passed away right after Thanksgiving. My dad had already flown back to Taiwan to see him, so we spent Thanksgiving without him. I didn't know my grandfather very well, so I can't say that I feel too depressed about his departure... though, it's sad all the same. My mom was super sick during Thanksgiving, however, so I came home to make Thanksgiving dinner all by myself (and a bit of help from my brother): Click for fooooooooood.
My finals were over way before most other people's were, so I had to chance to experiment with cookies. I've been especially interested in iced sugar cookies this semester. Here are some of my confections:
Mint Chocolate chip -- Brett's personal favorite! I make these for him all the time.
Russian Tea cakes
Music cookies -- for my best friend's birthday. Sorry, I apparently don't know what trumpets look like.
Halloween cookies -- I made these for my residents and staff members for Halloween.
Christmas cookies -- for my residents, staff, and professors.
There was a point in time during finals week that I had sooooo many cookies in my room. ;_____; It was scary. I'm a baking fiend. If I flunk my last semester of college, I'll open a bakery. :3 I also experimented with lots of bread pudding, pies, and pizookies. Oh, and other meal foods too, such as stuffed peppers, pulled pork, spaghetti, casseroles, chili, and other endless varieties. I've found my place in the kitchen -- it might be weird of me to say this, but being a housewife doesn't sounds too bad right now. :'D
I quit roleplaying wolves this summer, mostly because I was getting fed up with the forum I was on and I would be super busy this semester. Though, I really miss doing table art. Here are some samples:

Arizona didn't get cold until recently; I was wearing shorts and tank tops up until last week. I was cold and bored, so I made a scarf all by myself: See my pretty scarf!
Brett and I are doing really well. This past Halloween was our two year anniversary. <3 This is one of my favorite pictures of us. He makes me happy. :3 He bought me all four seasons of Yu Yu Hakusho on DVD for me for Christmas. :'D He's a keeper. He's even okay with my obsession with Kurama. <3
I got a moderator job on Lunaescence Archives, possibly the best place on the internet for fanfiction. It's a moderated archive, which means that if your writing sucks, it won't get posted. :'D I get thesad job honor of weeding through all those horribad stories.
lol, and as a random note, the weirdest thing that happened to me this year was a gay guy friend asking if I'd do some nude modeling for him. :'D Just thought it was funny. My Asian relatives have always been all like, "omg, stephanie, you're so fat," but I guess I can't be that fat if someone wants me to model for them. lol, I just can't deal with these Asian standards.
Yeah. I'll be graduating in May, hopefully. This winter break, I'm going to be doing a lot of job-hunting and studying for the GMAT. Wish me luck.
How are all of you doing? Updates, anyone?
