I KNOW IT'S THERE SOMEWHERE BUT I'M TOO LAZY TO SEARCH AGAIN AND BESIDES IT DESERVES TWO THREADS

BECAUSE THIS GAME IS FUCKING AMAZING

at last I have access to my Wii again since it's summer and first I took care of playing Graces F and Fragile Dreams (which is also fucking amazing) before taking on this monster because I wanted to be able to savor it without thinking about the other new games I have and wanting to rush through to start those

I've been waiting to play this ever since I first saw it announced because Monolith Soft is QUALITY

I sort of joined operation rainfall but didn't do anything significant with them except for give my support lol but at last it was released in NA in April and now I am actually playing it and oh my god all these feelings

I have not felt so amazed by a game since Trails in the Sky

this game is so good

more than once I have clutched my head in both hands while playing and started yelling because it's so good that it hurts

I know you all have Wiis

if this game is not inside your Wii right now and you are not playing it I hope you can hear it sobbing because I can

none of the characters are annoying and the story actually makes me care enough to want to know what will happen next

the gameplay inside and outside of battle is so fun

also it has the best soundtrack I've heard in a game and this is coming from a girl who absolutely loves falcom jdk band to death

I think I'm about 2/3's through the game now and while I really want to know how it ends I also don't want it to end

after I finish this all I can hope for is for Monolith Soft to make Baten Kaitos 3 and for xseed to localize Trails in the Sky 2 soon

who did you use in your party?

I used Shulk, Dunban, and Riki

Riki was surprisingly fun to play as and I would have controlled him more often if not for ai Shulk being an idiot about using the monado effectively

I was gonna swap in Seven to try her out but I loved the party I was using too much to swap any of them out

also I didn't really like how she was still alive after all and joined the party but I guess it was necessary for plot reasons and also jrpg >.>

I was Shulk, Reyn, and Sharla for a really long time, then I switched Reyn out for Dunban for awhile. Today I decided to change it up and went with Shulk, Riki, and Melia.

I enjoy Riki's in-battle quotes far more than I probably should.

I used Reyn and Sharla until I replaced Reyn with Dunban since even though Reyn can tank really well Dunban hardly even gets hit with the right setup

I had a hard time with her too :/
I had to grind a bit but apparently if you play as Melia it's a lot easier
also if your party isn't stupid and doesn't stand in the poison or whatever is in those pools
Riki and Dunban really liked to get themselves killed by doing that even when I told them to get out >.>

I started using Melia for that fight and haven't stopped. Under my control, she's so much better than when the AI just has her sit there with 3 elemetals summoned, doing nothing at all.

I finished it. It was great from start to finish.

The ending was pretty good, the whole accidental recreation of the universe and Alvis turning out to be HAL 9000 was interesting enough.

My only gripe with this game is that you can't pair Shulk with Melia instead of Fiora.
