I've missed a few of the later episodes (last being Korra getting captured). I do like what I've seen and in response to what someone else saying about animals; sky bison also doesn't fit the dual-animal pattern. ;P

The finale wasn't as good as the last few episodes before it, in my opinion.

episode 10 had me screaming out loud at points though lol

also all the shipping felt so forced

Okay now that the season has ended, I'll give my short and sweet response to it all. In a spoiler thingy just in case.

YES I believe there should have been a few more episodes. I would have liked to have seen more Bolin. Mako just had a much more prominent role this season with all the lovey stuff. I hope they give Bolin more stuff to do. ASAMI IS BEAUTIFUL AND I LOVE HER AND ALL SHE GOT WAS SCREWED OVER THE ENTIRE TIME SHE WAS ON I FEEL SO BAD ALJFKLASJFLSDFL. Minor gripes aside, all that they accomplished this season amazes me. I didn't feel that the season finale was rushed because they put so much raw emotion into it, especially THE BOAT SCENE OMG WHAT.

A friend of mine said that they should have spent the first season mostly on Korra's training and pro-bending and have her meet Amon for the first time during the finale. I can't say I agree. I wish they spent some more time on her training, yes, but having Amon play such a prominent role throughout built up all sorts of suspense. I mean who watching wasn't like WHO IS AMON after almost every episode? Like come on sdfkjslkdf. Overall, amazing characters (Korra is a great Avatar, Bolin is a bit too Sokka-y but we'll see where Book Two takes him), hellish suspense, phenomenal animation, great music, exciting nods to the original series... I loved the entire ride and can't wait for it to start up again.
