The first episode leaked a few days back. The first two are now streamable on the official website. They're both perfect and I am a happy boy, having watched every episode of The Last Airbender about 10 times each (though Sozin's Comet I've seen at least 20).
Anyone else geekin' out on this?

Um... I think I would if I had seen more than just the first season of TLA. I'm still waiting to torrent it (my BF is currently torrenting something that's kinda hard to find so it's been taking FOREVER and have postponed torrenting anything for me in hopes to make it go faster) I do like what I've seen so far though. What is this though? Prequel, sequel?

Honestly, I haven't been impressed with Korra since the pilot. The creative team seems to be having a lot of trouble keeping their technology consistent, and the CG is so glaring it pulls me right out of the show.
The pilot was so wonderful and well choreographed and the music! It was like Samurai Champloo mixed with Airbender. So much heart and soul and energy. And that just kind of... fizzled. Now it just feels like a really bad fanfiction, stilted dialogue and all.
Pabu may be the only redeeming factor, except he's a "Fire Ferret" which breaks the two-animal handle of the rest of the natural world. With the exception of the regular Bear and the Dragons.

The awkward moment I forgot I made this thread. Okay time to geek out. First off, Kriv, I love you but I couldn't disagree more. I think this is one of the most well thought-out things I've ever seen. The way they make you care about the new characters while addressing the old ones and intermixing the stories and aaaaah love it. Spoilerz- Yes, the relationship thing is a little cheesy, but with Asami's father and all, it could play a big part in the story later on. Who knows? Second, Aang having to go into Avatar State to repel bloodbending and Amon can just walk through it? WHO IS THIS GUY? Third, Skeletons in the Closet is gonna be purrrrrfect. Speaking of which I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend the recent comic trilogy called "The Promise." The first two are out, and it starts RIGHT at the end of the first series. Lots of Zuko and co. Fourth, yep, season finale soon.
