Not the kind about what you want to be when you grow up. No no. I'm talking about those vague visions you see when your eyes are closed and your brain is switched in the "Temporarily Insane" position. Any of you guys still have those?
I do, and last night's was... bizarre.
It started out simple enough. I was just hanging around my room playing Mario Is Missing when suddenly Ari IMs me and demands that I turn on Cartoon Network. She had none of my groaning about gaming, and I soon found myself watching the strangest episode of Adventure Time I've ever seen. And I mean... it's Adventure Time.
Jake is wearing some kind of acorn hat, and there's an alien sucking on the stem. Finn beats up the alien, who bounces across the country and sulks. Ari begins ranting about how the alien shows up with no warning, no character development, no name, and contributes nothing to the plot. I shrug.
The show then follows the alien and we see that he is with three other aliens beside a saucer. They are meditating and floating, like Raven does in Teen Titans. They discuss how they must get back at the humans for what has been done. It's then that I notice the aliens all have these cow tails swishing back and forth, but otherwise they resemble the typical Gray type alien.
The aliens reveal that they are actually highly-evolved cows mutated beyond their generations by a strange device inside their ship. They go on to explain (the dream does this by demonstrating disappointed aliens dumping off a carcass) that the mutilated cows often attributed to UFOs are actually cows that were unable to survive the high-evolutionary process and were ripped apart in the machine.
We then realize that the aliens are not part of Adventure Time, and that they are real.
