Moohahahaha! Consider this a call out to all of you guys who liked to roleplay or write some fanfiction.
Except we don't want to roleplay or write fanfiction. No, no, now it is time to be real! To be serio!
Ari and I thought it would be a nifty idea if we got together and each contributed a short story for a non-profit anthology. Basically we're just asking for any of you with an interest in writing, hobby or otherwise, to contribute a short story featuring an original character (preferably one that was used in the mission RPs, but if you didn't use an OC, it's fine to create one or use one for the project.)
Since we have to avoid, y'know, being sued out by Namco, the stories must take place in an original universe. Which the roleplays almost were anyways, so that shouldn't be too hard.
The only restriction is that you can't use another person's characters without their permission. This is largely to avoid improper characterization and whatnot.
Since everyone is all pretty busy with life, there is no date by which you must submit your story. We'll simply release the anthology whenever we have all the stories being written. Additionally, there is no word limit, so be as sparse or detailed as you please. Keep in mind that we will be accepting a maximum of one story per individual.
We're also going to need a cover at some point, so if anybody wants to volunteer for that, feel free.
