SO today while my mom was washing my dad's clothes she found a membership to a strip club in his pants pocket.
That led to us searching through his old cell phone and we found this really gross gif on it that I don't want to go into detail with. .-.
SO NOW he's not only out golfing (? who golfs in 40 degree weather?) all day and drinking all night (AND DRIVING HIMSELF HOME FROM THE BAR WHEN HE'S DRUNK TOO HAHA) but now he's seeing stripper(s?)
I think she's (more?) depressed and has been crying all night so I gave her a hug and told her that it would be okay and told her I didn't care if they got divorced and now she's still crying and for some reason I feel bad. :<
How do I convince her that I seriously don't care about having a "family" anymore because we've never really been a "family" in the first place and she can get a divorce because SERIOUSLY I don't care anymore MOM I'M NOT JUST SAYING THAT I DON'T CARE I REALLY DON'T OR just plain old what do I do?
Sorry for the lack of structure in this I'm still sort of frazzzzzzzled.
edit: haha I used html instead of bbcode again goddamnit

K first and foremost I LOVE YOU P I'M SO SORRY YOU'RE GOING THROUGH ALL THIS <33333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333 LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE YOU SO MUCH
Now, advice. It's a tough one to give advice for... I think the best thing I can suggest is give her a little time. Maybe what you're saying isn't sinking in because she's still pretty flustered by everything's that's happened. Maybe sit her down and try to tell her again a different time. That's just my two cents.
AGAIN I LOVE THE STUFFING OUT OF YOU P NEVER FORGET THAT

;3;
I LOVE YOU TOO ZELOS THANKS FOR REPLYING <33333333
Thanks, I'll try doing that. I'll tell her again sometime next week and see if anything changes.
She said that she's going to get a divorce after I leave for college but I don't want her to have to suffer through this stuff for another 9-or-however-many months.
DON'T WORRY ZELOS I WON'T FORGET

Hmm I don't know if I can really give advice. I think you're in a position where, even though this is all painful and confusing, you are the likeliest person to figure out what is best to do (even if it's hard), and I think you should trust in your own judgment and do what you think is best. I know that doesn't really help much, but I think it's true.
And, even though I can't really give you any tangible help, just know that I (and everyone else in our little family here) are more than happy to help you through this, if you want to talk to us or rant about this or anything else. I hope it gets much better for you; I hate to see you go through all of this, as you definitely don't deserve it. Good luck.

I agree with Sleepy. There's not much very specific stuff we can say for you to do that will make things significantly better, of course. However, we're always here to listen and try our best to help. What I said is the best I've got. I wish there was something I could say to make this whole thing go away. Though I can repeatedly say I love you. That's never a bad thing. I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!

Aww, thanks Sleepy. ;3; You're absolutely right.
And thanks again Zelos I LOVE YOU TOO
-hugs everyone-
I think it should get better for a while since my dad'll have to stay home more often since winter's almost here which means less things for him to do outside of the house...
