Does anyone know anything about it? I have its Wikipedia page bookmarked, which means someone told me it was good at some point, but I don't really know anything about it. It also looks as if it might be a pain to obtain it all. Anyone here seen it?

More than I should, since I hang out on the hub of melty blood competitive activity (MBAA was at EVO this year!)
Kara no Kyoukai is related to the Tsukihime series (Tohno Shiki, Arcueid Brunestud, uh... that crowd). It's a bit of a spin off/parallel universe series, it focuses on Shiki Ryougi who does some blahblahblahhhhh~ She fights with a knife and looks really cool while doing it but also features Crappy Type-Moon Art. Which is pretty crappy.
I hear the anime was pretty alright though. I hated the artstyle from what I saw, but the fight choreography was cool.

I watched the first movie because the seiyuu list interested me.
I couldn't tell you much about it though since I was playing Pokemon at the same time which was distracting me from the movie but that's okay since I was pretty bored while watching it.
I had the other 6 or however many movies on my harddrive to watch but deleted them before I did. :< They're not that hard to get, you can torrent them from gg subs.
If you want to watch a good movie, though, check out The Girl Who Leapt Through Time or Summer Wars. o7 The former made me cry and the latter is just plain awesome.

It wasn't the sort of movie that needed swords. :<
You should check out Summer Wars, made by the people who did The Girl Who Leapt Through Time and it has a lot more action.
And uh the plot is a lot like that awesome Digimon movie except that it has the most badass grandmother ever in it.
Hmm now I want to go rewatch them both again.
...I kinda want to rewatch that Digimon movie, too. :U

If you're talking about the Digimon movie that we got in the US, that's actually a bunch of scenes spliced from three different movies in Japan, or so I've been told.
I know GWLTT wasn't a swords movie... but it still could've used 'em! D:
I really like Karas. It's actually not at all like anything we've talked about so far, but it has swords so it needs to be mentioned. And pretty animation. And a badass protagonist. Badass pair of protagonists, actually. And swords.

I know the Digimon movie I have starts out with baby Kari and little Tai's first encounter with Digimon, and then there's a second part where they go into the computer and Izzy's like PRODIGIOUS and then Matt's like MUST FIND INTERNETS and then I AM OMNIMON and BAMBAMBAM but I don't know anything about a third part...
Karas has been on my to-watch list for a few years now, does that mean I should bump it up? :U

So I watched Summer Wars, and while it was slow in some parts, I enjoyed it.
But it's one of those movies with awesome characters and after it's over you get that feeling that's like, "It's over now and those characters are gone D:"

Watch it now D: My movie only has two movies in it, I've never seen the third one but "more than 40 minutes of scenes from the individual Japanese versions cut out in order to save time" goddamnit what the hell I'm gonna have to find subs for the real Digimon movies D: Wait what if I just never sat through the VHS long enough after the second movie to see if there was more after it I NEED TO GO FIND IT AND SEE NOW. 3 hours, I could probably finish Disgaea 2 in 3 hours, but alright I'll go find a torrent somewhere for Karas. :U @kal: I was sad when the badass grandmother died. D: She was one of my favorites along with Kazuma. But when I first saw Kazuma I couldn't tell what gender he was fffffff. If OZ was real, I would definitely have an account on there.  |

Summer Wars? I'll have to check that out  P-Chan: Yeah, there's the one with Tai and Kari and gigantic Agumon. Then there's the one inside the computers and Matt's like "I MUST SAVE INTERNETZ!" Then there's another one that takes place in the secon season. |

Sleepy reminded me to watch The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. I enjoyed it, though it was quite sad.
Also, it definately could have used a few more swords.
