Response to a prompt:
Leon thought his footsteps sounded like thunder claps, as odd as that may seem when one is walking on soft, wet grass; still, the sound was nothing compared to pounding of the blood in his head. The normally bright, happy landscape around him only made him close his eyes, trying to block out the light that caused him pain. On top of that, he was extremely dizzy. The only thing he could think to compare it to was having his skull between a battering ram and the door of a castle. Of course, he didn't know what that felt like, but who would object to him saying it?
At the moment Leon didn't seem to know anything, or rather, didn't remember anything. Obviously, he knew how to walk, and knew what battering rams, castles, and thunder claps were. But he couldn't remember anything about himself, except that he must have been drinking last night. He tried hard to remember, but the only thing he could remember was waking up sprawled out on the grass a few moments before, and then getting up and limping away. Unknowingly, he stepped on a slight hill, and, in the state he was in, he slipped, rolled a few feet, and landed once again on his back. He decided to simply stay there for the moment.
Before he a chance to think, he heard some sort of barking nearby. At least it sounded nearby to him. He also assumed it was some sort of wild something, come to attack him; though he couldn't remember any particular incident, he somehow knew that it was just his luck to be mauled by wild animals. Awkwardly, he hoisted him self to his feet, getting ready to defend himself despite the fact that he could barely stand. Immediately stumbling, he leaned against a tree for support. His head was still spinning.
Suddenly, a person popped up through the bushed beside him, startling Leon, as he thought he heard the noise from the other direction. As he quickly turned towards the person, he lost his balance, and once more fell backwards. The light blinded him, and he put his hand up to block out the sun. While at temping to see who it was, he saw the shape of a dog, or a wolf, next to the person, but immediately had to close his eyes to block out some of the pain. He figured that must have been the noise he heard, and prepared as best he could for the worst.
"Who are you?" The voice, though soft and nonthreatening in actuality, boomed around Leon's head. He thought for a minute trying to think of a good answer. All he knew about himself was his name, so he stared with that. "Uh.... Leon." Talking caused his head to ache even more.
"My name's Vierka," he heard the person say, "but what are your doing out here in a suit?" Leon opened his eyes, using his hand to block out the sun, and saw that he was indeed wearing a suit. He hadn't noticed before. He tried to remember once again why he was out here, and who he was, but it was no use.
"Actually," He said, attempting to stand one final time, "I'm not sure who I am, or why I'm here." As he stood, the dizziness took hold again. Trying desperately not to fall backwards, he leaned too far forward, and lost his balance once again. He spun around, figuring it would be better to fall on his butt again than on his face; this time, however, instead of a soft landing, he accidentally smashed his head against the tree he had been using for support. The whole world spun around him, and the last thing he heard before losing consciousness was a voice saying "Hey, are you all right!?"
