Just ordered Vesperia yesterday. Hopefully it ought to get here in a few days. Though I really haven't wanted to play video games in a while. Eh, we'll see what happens.

Sorry for the double post, but HOLY CRAP I GET TO CONTROL THE DOG! thats amazing, and bound to keep me entertained forever XD Although i was disappointed in the pronounciation of Repede. I was, for some reason, expecting "Ray-Pay-Day"... and I will keep pronouncing it that way XD

Repede is not a dog...or so Yuri says.
And "Reh-peed" > "Ray-pay-day"
But yes, Repede actually is very handy to have around. The only character who can steal items and can use 2 items with no time in between.
Repede got the really short end of the stick with costume titles and attachments though. T_T

The Yuri doll attachment on Repede is the coolest thing ever.  I wish there were better melee characters in this game to support Yuri and Estelle. Repede is really good, but Karol can never seem to combo enemies well (but he can heal, so that's sorta a plus) and Judith keeps hitting people into the air, which is really annoying. Also, IMO, Rita sucks at casting (at least until she gets some better skills) and Raven is kind of an improved Natalia but that's not saying much. But damn, this game is good. Unfortunately, I've slowed way down as far as playing time goes because of school, so I'm only at the part where Estelle and Raven go "missing" and you have to go to the ruins of Baticon. |

Also, IMO, Rita sucks at casting (at least until she gets some better skills) Blah, blah, blah, Tidal Wave? And also, Judith is meant to be an air comboer. Sort of like Emil except she's better apparently. ;3; |

I prefer the Raven attachment myself. Also at the beginning of the game I absolutely hated Estelle(Now I see her as just really annoying.) Karol is actually a much better healer, and while Raven isn't as good as Karol or Estelle, he can still get the job done, so I use Raven for healing. I don't really like Judith fighting all that much, but she can get the job done in the coliseum, although Repede is by far the easiest character to go through the coliseum with quickly. My party is Yuri, Repede, Raven and Rita. Also Genis, did you unlock Overlimit levels 3 and 4? You need to synth the key items at a Fortune's Market. Just wanted to say: I finally beat Tales of Vesperia. Great game, and while the ending could have been more satisfying, it was amazing. I think I'll write a review later.

Maybe I'm not far enough, or maybe I'm not as big an RPG person as I used to be, but i'm still like "Come on story. Its time to start picking it up and becoming interesting." I mean, yeah, most of the parts with Flynn so far have been cool like in the coliseum . Oh and that part where Yuri kills that dude... I can't remember his name, the magistrate that he kills in Dahngrest. I wanted to say "Mohs" but thats the dude from Abyss. was pretty intense. But its like, when is the main plot getting here? The world destroying super twist or something? I hope I haven't hit the main plot lol |

His name is Ragou, and well, truth be told, if you're around that part, you've only just touched the main plot, if at all.
I've said who knows how many times, but if you played Abyss, you should notice that the stories are very similar, but IMO, Vesperia has better characters.

I'm in the desert right now if that helps. I'm only growing impatient because, even though i'm not too far in the story, its taken me a long time to get there XD (especially with not playing much, but the hours are more than i'd expect).
Yuri is definitely awesome, but the whole super competent awesome super dude as the main character is a little weird for what i'm used to the main character being XD

Yeah, I don't want to say Yuri doesn't develop much by the end of the day but, Yuri doesn't develop in a clear "I'm a better person" way. I wasn't used to that but, I welcomed the change. Especially after playing Abyss which had Luke. >.>

Well, the story has definitely picked up quite a lot. I'm in Zaude, and I really hope this is like the Abyss first final dungeon thing (I just mean I hope there isn't ANOTHER dungeon before I beat him, because I'm tired of chasing him (this is the 4th dungeon of chasing him DX)).
All in all I'm starting to like the story a lot more, and all the characters as well. Though I liked Estelle at the beginning, she has been kinda going downhill. But Karol has been going uphill and Raven has shot up even more so we're good.

I actually hated Estelle in the beginning, but just before Zaude, I started liking her. It's easier to like her when compared to Luke. And Karol broke through for me after the Blade Drifts of Zopheir. And well..I always liked Raven. Just before Heracles made me like him even more.
