The olympics have basically taken over my life.
First off, Michael Phelps, can you please be more amazing?! 5 for 5, 3 to go. Woo! Thats incredible.
Men's gymnastics did awesome for what their expectations were with their two best gymnasts injured. They were even in first for a while, but had some problems and ended grabbing bronze, which was still great for what was expected of them.
Women's gymnastics got bronze as well, and definitely could have beaten out Japan for silver, maybe even gotten a gold if it hadn't of been for some big falls on balance beam and floor exercise. Blargh.
Katie Hoff is like the female Michael Phelps..only she's not doing as good. I don't think shes gotten a gold yet (someone correct me if I'm wrong?) but I know shes gotten at least a silver and bronze, and I also know she got 4th in a couple finals which bites to be so close but not get a medal.
The mens 400 meter relay was the most incredible and amazing thing I've ever seen and was probably the highlight of my olympics so far.
Beach volleyball, Dalhasseur and Rogers...man..they fell apart. Dalhasseur especially, a lot of serves went straight to the net, as did a lot of his kill attempts. Personally I think Rogers is a much better player.
On the women's side of that, do I even have to say anything? May and Walsh are unstoppable. Thats all there is to it.
