My friend told me there was a 26 episode TotA anime announced to be out sometime this fall.
This calls for a party and construction of a new Guy set.

I still need to download the ToS one. Unfortunately I got the first one and whoever did the subbing put in notes that made them sound like they either only played the first 10 minutes of the game, or got their information second-hand and messed things up >_>U So I'm looking for a different subber.
But a TotA anime! I still need to finish the game first but that sounds awesome ^-^

I think Asch merged with Luke at the end, and now they're one person. That's the most common theory I've heard. xD

Yeah...but I don't really like that one. I mean...is this new..person..does he act like Luke, or Asch? Does he have both their memories? I dunno, I like to think it's either one or the other, preferably Luke.

I think it's just that they combined into Luke's body, and Luke is still like the main person of it. Asch could just be like inside watching everything.
I think we need a sequel.

I'd think it'd either be what P-chan said or it would a mix or both of them. I hope it's like a mix cause I really didn't like Luke cause he was so whinny and emo (although he kind-of got over it by the end), and Asch was awesome but I doubt it would dominate asch since he did die at the end.
But I thought there was something in the game that supported the merging theory. I thought it was something when Jade was examining that cheagle you find. I don't remember exactly what it said but i know it was something about that.
Tales of the Abyss 2 would be great, but where would they really go with it? I mean, ToS2 is totally called for considering the worlds are put together and we need to know what happens to all the people and stuff, but isn't most everything wrapped up in TotA? I guess just some ending stuff to find out what the characters all did like in ToS would've been nice, but.... I don't know about a whole sequel. Maybe just make an even better all new game?

Either way, I just don't like the idea of them merging into one. I mean...it's just like..they're both losing their identity? Or something. I dunno. I'd rather have it be one or the other. And yeah, I agree it would be hard to come up with a sequel. I mean, it's not gonna happen anyway, and I think I do agree that I'd rather play a whole new Tales game. |
