Mine were like six bucks if you changed it to US dollars, and at Barnes and Noble they sell for like 10 bucks.

I figured translating to Chinese was less of a hassle than translating to English, and shipping should be less too.

Really? The bookstores I went to priced them around eight or nine US dollars which is close enough to the US cost. >.> Besides... I don't read Chinese so I wouldn't have any way to translate them.

The bookstores in Korea price them for about $3 so I was under the impression that manga in the US was just particularly expensive.

They may be more expensive in some languages than others. I mean, the Japanese mangas are always more expensive than the Chinese ones in Taiwan. x.x;

I don't think I would find the Japanese ones anywhere in Korea. Japanese ones are probably cheaper in Japan.
