My friends and I say that kind of stuff all the time, like, I can't recall a conversation which didn't have anything along the lines of "that's so Asian" or "that's such an Asian thing to do".

I talked to a friend from WI almost a year ago, I forgot exactly how it came up, but he didn't know what sushi was, and I looked at him like he had 3 heads. I'm now aware of the lack of Asians in WI.
