XD you could type it out phonetically (is that the right word) so we could say it. But that might not be forum appropriate XD

That's what you'd think but pinyin(romanized chinese) has no logic to it whatsoever, and you'd probably end up saying...some other random Chinese word.

NI HAO I personally find it annoying when people ask me how to say swear words in Korean, swearing in another language is not as awesome as it seems, and most people can't pronounce them right and it makes me cringe. >_< OH MY GOD I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU MEAN T___T Although it's not as bad here, because I like in an Asian-saturated area, so at least when they mispronounce it, it's with a Chinese accent instead of an American one How many Korean swears are there, though? I've only learned like, one, and that was from my dad XD He confessed that he didn't know any others too xP

My friend asked me how to say "go die" in Chinese, and when she repeated after me, it came out, "go take a bath." I've given up on teaching people how to speak Chinese now.

One of my friends love it when Americans try(and fail, miserably) to pronounce anything in an Asian language. I remember in Bio some guy randomly brought up how to say diarrhea in Chinese, Laduzi or something like that. And she was trying to correct him, but he just kept saying something totally different from her. Sometimes I wonder if they're even TRYING to pronounce them right. And the poor Japanese kids, teachers here ALWAYS mispronounce the Japanese kids' names. Yusuke = Yoosooki. As for how many Korean swears there are, I honestly have no idea, definitely more than one though.

I remember when I danced Hare Hare Yukai for my drama class. My teacher was trying to pronounce Aya Hirano's name, and he butchered it.

Most white people don't bother trying to pronounce them right, and will intentionally create a jibberish noise to exaggerate the "weirdness" of the language. I usually find that the only thing they exaggerate is their own ignorance. When I make a mistake in other language pronounciation (which happens with me as much in English as any other language, Asian or not ) it's because I honestly thought it was pronounced like that.

Well look at it the other way, it's hard for Asian people to pronounce some english words too. My friend has a foreign exchange student from Japan and she has a tough time with some words.

Stereotype! I don't have trouble pronouncing English words. ...OK that's kind of a lie, but casual English is no problem for me.
