Argh, stuck again! No matter what she did, she always ended up getting stuck in or on something. Now her leg was stuck in between the two trees that she had previously been climbing through. Well, it was one tree split into two, but either way she was stuck! This was aggravating to no end, and she certainly hoped no one was going to be wandering around anytime soon. Boy, that would be embarrassing! Sighing, Kal looked at her leg, which of course had her boot on it, preventing her from getting it through the small gap in between the two sections of tree. I could always take my boot off and then reach through and put it back on she thought to herself as she leaned forward to try and untie her boot. Of course, the laces were stuck and she couldn't pry them from underneath her boot and above the tree. How had she managed to get herself into this one? Well, it was simple. She was trying to climb through instead of going through a group of brambles, and ended up getting stuck here instead. At an awkward angle, mind you, so it made any other way put pulling a difficult option.
Great, just great sarcastic thoughts. Huffing to herself, she braced her hands against the tree trunk and began to pull as best as she could, straining to pry her boot free from the tree. At least Brin, her brother, wasn't here. He would have a field day if he saw his younger sister attempting to pull herself free from a piece of nature! Well, he'd laugh at her regardless of many situations, but that wasn't the point. Taking a deep breath, she readied herself and gave one last pull, feeling her foot beginning to slip free from her boot. Of course, nothing went the way she wanted it to, and she ended up flying free of the tree and into the brush. Crying out, she tumbled backwards out of the brush and into a small clearing where a young woman and her companion were. "Ouch!" she mumbled as she rolled over. Rubbing her ankle, which was nothing more than a little bruised, she looked up to see the woman. "O-Oh! I'm dreadfully sorry. I was just uh...a...uh, a little stuck!" she exclaimed, blushing heavily at her clumsiness. Great going, Kal, now someone knows how klutzy you are.
Well, they would've found out sooner or later anyways, so that was basically pointless. At least this other person wasn't a man. Then we'd have some serious issues going on with Kal's end. Clearing her throat, Kal gave a bit of a sheepish grin, her gaze trailing warily to the other by the young woman. It wasn't going to attack her, was it? She seriously hoped not, because being mauled wasn't exactly in her schedule at the moment. "Anyways, uh...I'm Kal...and uh, sorry for that once again. I should probably get back, my brother is probably worried. Sorry for i-interrupting anything." Turning, she was about to leave but ended up tripping over herself again, the wind rushing from her lungs as her chest made impact with the ground. Silly Kal! It's a good thing she didn't fly, because there would be many windows she met up close and personal in her life time. Huffing, she resorted to just sitting up, her hands going to brush herself off.
