if anyone was wondering why I haven't logged on in a while, I got home for spring break last thursday, picked up kid icarus uprising, and have been playing it a lot (too much?!) since then
I've gotten used to the controls and don't know what everyone's complaining about
MAYBE YOU JUST HAVE REALLY BIG HANDS, HUH? MINE FIT THE CONTROLS JUST FINE
the game is everything I've hoped for! ;u; ♥
some of the dialogue is so funny, I've laughed to the point where I had to pause the game since I couldn't concentrate because I was laughing too hard
if anyone else has it, what ar cards did yours come with? I have pit, palutena, dark pit, twinbellows, ez cannon, and the giant pink eyeball (I'm too lazy to see what its real name is)
why does my dark pit card lose against everything

wait so it's a quasi-card game?  I've only seen some parts of adds for it. Once I saw him using this weird claw thing like he was trying to be Wolverine or something. I've heard some friends going that this is God of War-kiddie version (from the looks of the ad). Mind you their not so much into Nintendo and sometimes their tastes make me go wtf? |

oh, no, it just comes with six ar cards for the 3ds, and you can make them fight each other
it's supposed to be a COLLECT THEM ALL sort of thing I guess, there are 400 of them .-.
I've never played god of war so I dunno what to tell you but this is a great game ;u;
nothing like breaking the fourth wall
also I don't understand why people call games kiddie unless they're specifically marketed towards 5 year olds

there's a "free for all" mode where you're on your own against 5 (I think it's 5, I haven't done this mode myself) other players
and then there's "light vs. dark" where you're put on the light or dark team (each team has three people) and fight against the other team
once one of your teammates is defeated (or you are) then your team's hp gauge loses goes down (how much it goes down depends on the value (the strength) of your weapon)
after your team's hp gauge is all the way down the last person to die on your team transforms into pit or dark pit depending on your team and then whoever's pit/dark pit goes down first loses
I played one of those the first day I got it and it was pretty fun considering the fact that the other team had weapons with values in the upper 200's while I was the highest one on my team with 160-something (one of my teammates' was 117 orz)
NEEDLESS TO SAY, WE LOST but I had fun losing
it also wasn't laggy at all, which was surprising!
TL;DR: YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY PICK IT UP

I got my 3 free Club Nintendo cards today. Palutena (Rare), Great Reaper, and Drill Arm. I would guess the Palutena one is rare, so that's nice, I guess.
I still don't really get the cards.

there's no real point to them other than I guess collectability and to look at the pretty pictures since having them battle each other isn't exciting at all
I had my pit fight my dark pit repeatedly the day I got it and dark pit somehow lost every single one?!
are you trying to imply something nintendo, I think you are
also I want your great reaper omg ;n;

I love every character in this game. Except maybe Thanatos. He bugs me.
My only complaint with this game is the conversations held during boss fights. I almost always finsh the boss before the conversation ends, so it gets cut off.
The cards I got are Pit, Palutena, Dark Pit, Dark Lord Gaol, Violet Palm, and Monoeye.

but if thanatos wasn't there, I wouldn't have added the word HAMAZING to my vocabulary! increase your intensity? ;u; dialogue during boss battles doesn't seem too important anyways also I saw this on yahoo answers while I was looking up quotes from the game and had to screencap it lol  who has two thumbs and loves hotsprings? EVERYONE WITH TWO THUMBS |
