Last time it was meh for me considering the price but that was also a really long time ago. I would rather go out to have sushi anyway. As for plushies... I love plushies, both Brian (my boyfriend) and I have stuffed animals all around the apartment XD As for paying $30 bucks for one... definitely not now and only if it's something really special like at a con or something. Otherwise... no, something cheaper or I would try to make it. I need to look for a pattern anyway for a parrot/bird for a costume for Brian.
