Not that we'll get it in America anyways so don't get your hopes up, but...

Instead of one main character, it has two of them. Once you pick one, the story will follow that character until the end of the game, so you need to play through twice if you want to see both stories.
Sort of like Star Ocean 2 I guess, speaking of which I never did do Rena's story...
Anyways, the characters do cross paths in each story though, I heard that you get to battle the one you're not playing as.
Unlike in the most recent Tales game (Tales of Graces), TP is back (booooo), but instead your normal attacks can be chained together with some sort of CC system like Team Destiny's games (yaaay)!
Both Kosuke Fujishima and Mutsumi Inomata are collaborating to design the game's characters. Ooooh.
The main male character uses his fists like Senel and the female is a summoner who uses a sword.
The female character has sweet hair and her outfit reminds me of Rutee's. Her name is Mira.
Couldn't find a concept art of the dude (his name is Jude by the way hnnngh why) but have a picture.
He's training in a hospital or something so I'm guessing he's gonna learn some healing spells. He'll probably play like Farah from Eternia.
Also this is unrelated but he looks A LOT like Judas (and just look at his name Jude -> Judas) so if he's secretly Lion Magnus revived for a third game to appease the fangirls YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST DUDES ouob I'M CALLING IT NOW /shot
though if that happened the game's title would have to be Tales of Destiny III so don't listen to me orz
The game is set for a 2011 release date in Japan and has no release date for anywhere else because it never will be released anywhere else unless we get trolled and it gets localized in Europe like the Eternia remake.
