As you're walking through the forest, you see this sign posted up on a nearby tree. Curious, you walk over to it and begin to read what it says.
Dear fellow Pokemon,
Are you bored out of your mind? Are you searching for a purpose in life? Do you have a need for adventure that's just waiting to be fulfilled? Well, you're in luck, because Charizard's Guild is looking for fresh, new recruits to join the exploration team.
In the exploration team, you will be able to help many Pokemon in need. Our guild is given tasks each day, from retrieving stolen items to escorting Pokemon to new places or even finding someone who's trapped or lost. We receive so many requests and at the moment don't have nearly enough members to complete all of them.
That's where you will come in!
No prior experience is needed. Each new guild member will be assigned a partner and given a guild room. If you have a partner in mind, that's fine, too; just tell us. The team will also be given:
- a Wonder Map detailing the surrounding area
- an explorer badge for each member
- a treasure bag for holding items you may find
- two items chosen at random to help you in your quests
All who are interested are invited to stop by the guild headquarters.

Personality: Eager and naive, Inia wants to explore the world because of the stories that she has been told. She's happy for this chance to help others, but she doesn't really know what she's getting herself into. Inia is quite curious, which may or may not be a bad thing, given the situation.

Moveset: Vacuum Attack, Pursuit, Slash, Razor Wind
Personality: Quiet and might be somewhat terse at times. He doesn't like casual conversation, and doesn't usually speak unless spoken to. Torer is not particularly friendly, but he doesn't go out of his way to be rude or hostile either.
Partner: None yet.
Other: He joined the guild for only one reason: as a young Scyther, he was brash and overconfident, and one day fell prey to a rock slide. He was hurt physically and emotionally, thinking that he was going to die. However, just as all hope was lost and he clung onto the last remnants dear life, the Pokémon exploration team came along and rescued him. Torer only has loyalties to Charizard, and will do whatever it takes to serve the team, helping other Pokémon in need.

Personality: Sneaky (whoa sneaky Sneasel?) but good-hearted. Likes to tell bad jokes that aren't funny at all. Always has extra energy and can never sit still.

Other: Likes eating Pidgey eggs before they've hatched. (The Pokedex told me so, sorry Pidgey. ;~

Moveset: Psybeam, Confusion, Swift, Quick Attack
Personality: A cooled-off hothead, Ellie is still young but mature and seasoned for her age. She's been in the guild for almost a year now, and is comfortable in the face of uncertainty and danger. A taste for adventure, danger, and excitement - she's the girl who always takes you by the hand and always has a trick up her (metaphorical) sleeve. Deceptively inelegant - a tomboy Espeon.
Partner: Her previous partner retired from the guild, and she's been mostly filling in as mentor and squad captain in the meantime. She'll pick up a younger/lower ranked/leveled partner later as an official mate.
Other: Like cupcakes and walnuts, but not carrots.
